These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through the Japan Importer website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
1. About Japan Importer
Japan Importer is an online store specialising in authentic Japanese collectible products, including professionally graded trading cards.
Our products are primarily sourced from Japan and may be shipped directly from Japan to the customer.

2. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, grades, photographs and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Because many of our products are collectible items, availability may be limited and in many cases only one unit may be available.
The main characteristics of each product are provided on its product page.
3. Product Images and PSA Certification Numbers
Some products sold by Japan Importer are professionally graded collectible cards.
Product photographs are intended to accurately represent the card being offered for sale. Unless the product listing specifically states that the exact item shown will be supplied, the certification number visible in the photographs may differ from the certification number of the graded card you receive.
Where a product is sold as PSA 10, the item supplied will be the same card and variant described in the listing and will have the advertised PSA Grade 10.
A different PSA certification number does not by itself mean that the product is different from the product ordered or that it does not conform to the product description.
If a product listing specifically states that the photographs show the exact item, the customer will receive that specific item.
4. Prices
Product prices are displayed on the website in the currency indicated at the time of purchase.
The total amount payable, including the product price and applicable shipping charges, will be displayed before you place your order.
Any import taxes, customs duties and related charges are handled as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
We will not charge additional amounts that have not been disclosed or accepted as part of the ordering process.
5. Placing an Order
To place an order, select the desired product, add it to your cart and complete the Checkout process.
Before submitting the order, you will have the opportunity to review the products selected, shipping method, delivery information and total amount payable.
By submitting an order using the final payment/order button, you acknowledge that the order involves an obligation to pay.
After placing an order, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.
This acknowledgement does not by itself constitute acceptance of the order.
6. Order Acceptance and Formation of the Contract
Orders are subject to acceptance by Japan Importer.
After receiving your order, we may verify the availability of the product, payment information and other information necessary to process the transaction.
The contract between you and Japan Importer is formed when we confirm or process acceptance of your order.
Because some collectible products may be offered through more than one sales channel, it is possible in exceptional circumstances for a product to become unavailable shortly before our systems register its sale elsewhere.
If a product is no longer available before we accept your order, we may cancel the order.
If payment has already been collected, all amounts paid for the cancelled order will be refunded in full using the original payment method, unless another method is expressly agreed with you.
7. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during Checkout.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered on the website at the time of purchase.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment service providers. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
An order may not be accepted if payment cannot be authorised or successfully processed.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Full information regarding shipping methods, delivery estimates, tracking, customs procedures and delivery issues is available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Depending on the destination and options available at Checkout, shipping may be provided through Japan Post, EMS or another service expressly displayed during the ordering process.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are explained in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Japan Importer remains responsible for the goods during transportation as required by applicable consumer law.
9. Import Taxes and Customs
Products may be shipped directly from Japan and may therefore be subject to import formalities in the destination country.
Where applicable to your order, import VAT and customs are included ith the purchse price as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Depending on the destination country and local postal or customs operator, the recipient may still be charged a local administrative, presentation, clearance or handling fee.
Such third-party administrative charges are outside Japan Importer’s direct control.

10. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers who are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal may withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason.
The conditions and procedure for exercising this right, including return instructions and responsibility for return shipping costs, are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Returns must be sent to the return address provided by Japan Importer in Spain, not to the original address in Japan.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to your purchase.
11. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
For a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product to Spain, as explained in that policy.
Different rules apply where a product is damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract.
Please contact us before returning any product so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
12. Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the product description, please contact us at support@japanimporter.com.
We may request reasonable information, such as photographs of the product and packaging, to help us assess the issue.
Your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods are separate from your right to change your mind and are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.
13. Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Collectible products may have very limited availability and may be offered through multiple sales channels.
We make reasonable efforts to keep stock information accurate and remove unavailable products promptly.
However, in exceptional circumstances, an item may be sold elsewhere shortly before our systems update its availability.
If this occurs before an order has been accepted, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund of all amounts paid.
14. Order Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your name, delivery address and any information reasonably required for delivery or customs processing.
Please review your information carefully before placing the order.
If you discover an error after placing an order, contact us at support@japanimporter.com as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to correct the information where possible, but changes may no longer be possible once an order has entered the shipping process.
15. Intellectual Property
The content of the Japan Importer website, including its branding, logo, layout, original text and other original materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party names, trademarks, product images and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Nothing on this website grants any right to use Japan Importer’s intellectual property without prior permission.
16. Website Availability and Errors
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and the information displayed on it accurate.
However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption or technical errors.
If we discover a material error affecting a product, price or order, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and, where necessary, contact the affected customer.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer law.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights of consumers or Japan Importer’s obligations in relation to goods that are damaged, incorrect, defective or otherwise non-conforming.
Japan Importer is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Personal information provided when using our website or placing an order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we process it, how long it may be retained and the rights available to you regarding your personal data.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary, for example to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable legal requirements.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order are those in force when the order is placed, subject to any mandatory legal provisions.
The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page.
20. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers residing in another country of any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to them under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or waived.
